Why is this role important?

We are seeking a motivated and well-organised Litigation Secretary to join our Dispute Resolution team. The role involves providing secretarial and administrative assistance to lawyers, ensuring smooth handling of litigation matters, and maintaining a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
– Provide secretarial and administrative support to lawyers, including scheduling, correspondence, and file management.
– Prepare, format, and file legal documents accurately and in a timely manner.
– Perform legal searches and assist in case preparation.
– Manage electronic and physical court filings, ensuring compliance with procedures and deadlines.
– Liaise with clients, court staff, and external parties as required.
– Assist with billing and other administrative tasks as needed.

What are the role requirements?

– At least 1 year of experience in a legal firm preferred.
– Familiarity with e-Litigation system and procedures.
– Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
– Good command of written and spoken English.
– Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
– Resilient under pressure with attention to detail.
– Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident only.
