BIOGRAPHY

Sumaiyah graduated with a Bachelor of Laws with Distinction and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2019.

 

Before focusing on Real Estate, Sumaiyah regularly advised clients on both contentious and non-contentious family law, including civil and Syariah divorce proceedings, custody, care and control disputes, division of matrimonial assets, family violence, maintenance for wives and children.

 

In her broader legal practice, Sumaiyah has acted in a variety of civil litigation matters, including bankruptcy and insolvency matters, landlord and tenancy disputes, and debt recovery. She also has extensive experience in advising private clients on wills, probate, deputyship, powers of attorney, estate distribution, lasting powers of attorney, as well as succession and legacy planning.

 

Sumaiyah is fluent in the Tamil Language and can communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
