Janice Lai

​Janice is a Senior Associate in our litigation department.

She graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2000 and was called to the Singapore Bar in 2001.

After being in legal practice for seven years, she took an extended break from work to raise her children.

She is now back in practice and undertakes various aspects of civil and commercial litigation work under the supervision of a Director.

Experience in contentious matters:

• Debt recovery and enforcement
• Bankruptcy proceedings
• Landlord and tenant disputes
• Contractual disputes
• Employment disputes

Experience in non-contentious matters:

• Drafting, reviewing and advising on tenancy agreements, licence agreements, partnership agreements and employment contracts
• Probate work (including drafting of wills and Powers of Attorney as well as extraction of Grants of Probate or Letters of Administration)
