Wendy Lyu

Wendy Lyu has experience across both law firm and in-house roles, with a focus on corporate compliance, legal technology and China-related matters.

She has been involved in a range of corporate and financing matters, including Hong Kong–listed IPOs (1588.HK, 1330.HK and 1786.HK) and large-scale financing transactions such as RMB 5 billion perpetual medium-term notes and US$110 million offshore bond issuances for PRC enterprises.

Prior to joining BR Law, Wendy was part of the legal teams at Alibaba Group and Yonyou (600588.SH), where she was involved in compliance management, legal digitalisation and internal control initiatives. Her experience includes supporting automated compliance workflows, e-signature processes, as well as regulatory and anti-money laundering reviews, giving her hands-on exposure to how major PRC enterprises manage regulatory, operational and risk-related matters in practice.

With experience in both private practice and in-house environments, Wendy has a practical understanding of the operational and regulatory landscape faced by PRC enterprises. She regularly supports cross-border matters and works closely with PRC law firms and professional teams on regulatory, compliance and transactional matters.
